Today's Thrift Store Haul

here is what i bought today at the thrift store.. i went for baby yarn.. as you can see I didnt get any .. LOL .. i couldnt resist the Berroco Opulent.. and that really nice cotton.. and of course the Silk denim as well .. I have plans for all of it already.. I am making lacy shawls out of the silk.. scarves with the opulent.. (started one already with the grey.. holding it with black mohair.. looking bery nice) ... the cotton will be colourful jam jar covers.. and that odd skein of lime green and purple is gonna be a little scarf for me!! and the best part.. I got all of it for $50.. the opulent alone would have been almost that much ..so I got a great deal !!!

Once again, I'm jealous. I doubt I could find such wonderful yarns at the thrift stores here. In this neck of the woods, thrift store=junk that no one wants but won't take to the dump either.

just gorgeous! i sooo wish that kind of yarn were available around here.....

*sigh* hopefully soon this store thing will get out of the attorney's office and into my own storefront.
