the right yarn?

MY son wants me to make him a sky mask and I have a pattern and I am curious as to what type of yarn would be good for this? :thinking1 The pattern calls for soft worst weight and thats it. Any suggestions would be awesome! :ideanot

For a ski mask I would use wool. Patons Classic Merino Wool is worsted weight and works up very soft.

Merino wool is really soft, I think it would be fine. If you wanted to stick to soft worsted weight, I'd go with Caron's Simply Soft. It feels wonderful for acrylic.

personally i would do the merino or some sort of wool blend maybe because wool wicks moisture and is also very warm..

 

or if that isnt a concern .. the simply soft is nice or even light and lofty but that is a bulkier yarn you would have to adjust the pattern ..
