just to be the :bad i thought I would let you guys know .. i am going to see the yarn lady tomorrow .......woooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooo....

 

i am gonna be good though.. i am only taking what i can spend .. no check book or anything...

 

 

but I will have some pictures when i get home tomorrow so you all can see what i bought ..

 

this is like an addict getting his next fix! i am so excited!

Ok, here's my big question.

 

Where do they get this stuff from?????? Some of the sellers let it go so cheap, I can only dream what deals they must be getting in the first place <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/faint.gif" />

is it impolite to drool?? <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/drool4.gif" /> I unpacked a sweater at work last night and it was knitted on toothpicks i think the stitches were so tiny...but the yarn they used...OMG...it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo soft and "good" feeling it was 98% nylon and 3%spandex (yeah I looked at the label but it didn't tell me what the name of the "fabric" was) it was as soft as.....gosh i don't think ive ever felt anything that soft before!

well first of all .. she buys in mass quantity.. and on short notice.. i asked and she told me sometimes they call and want her to come get it that day ..

 

i am sure she gets a really good deal and i would be lost if i had that much yarn around me .. the funny thing is .. she doesnt knit or crochet...

 

 

you can find her on ebay under memc82

 

if you buy something tell her i sent you !! and if you are looking for something specific she has things that arent listed you can go and ask if she has what you are looking for and will usually accomodate you ..

Believe me, I have no interest in getting into the yarn business, I was just wondering where it comes from. For they price they sell at, I'll let them do the work <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/toothygrin.gif" /> I have noticed a lot of the bulk sellers are from NC, are they getting mill ends from textile mills or something?

probably.... she is very nice and some of her stuff i think is jsut over run not second quality by any means.. she is very reasonable on shipping .. she charges actual .. sometimes its even less than what it turns out to be.. i tell you she has some myster lots in her ebay store.. and they are so worth the money .. like 38 pounds for less than 60 dollars.. i bought one if these when i was trying to build my stash and i wasnt disappointed with one yarn in the batch ..

hi elizabeth, i am sitting here:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool. oh my gosh i would go crazy and that yarn looks beautiful. there looks like there is some shiny yarns in there, is there? ohhhhhhh i am having a yarn craving, but have to be good as i promised my hubby i wouldn't buy any more yarn of course i had my fingers:fc so its really not backing out of my promise is it:bad :bad :bad :bad :bad :bad :bad :bad :bad , i love the feel of yarn and oh the texture. sheesh i am getting to be a major yarn junkie:eek2 congrats on getting that. i am going to have to check her site when i get a little extra money. does she do this all of the time? i would have to learn to either knit or crochet, no way could i sit there with all of that yarn. i bet she enjoys watching you doesn't she, are you like me and put a soft skein of yarn up to your face and just feel it?:cloud9 i told my kids they could get me a gift card to joanns and they laughed at me cause they know i have no needs of yarn, just lots of wants!!!!!!!:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl enjoy it. thanks for sharing. vicki:)h
