Oxfam sweater in plus size

Is it feasible to convert the Oxfam sweater to a plus size?

 

I think I know enough math to convert the measurements into a 3X (my size). But would the sweater look good?

 

What I'm actually looking for is a very easy, single crochet sweater or vest. I would crochet a picture in the sweater.

 

Does that make sense?

You should be able to do it. you may find it helpful to go to and read the B.I.C.O. (baby it's cold outside) CAL thread wherein we discussed lots of design issues when moving up the sizes. We did take a baby sweater and make it into adult plus sizes.
