Crocheted coral reef.... VERY cool!

This is a link to a project where scientists have put together a model of a coral reef made completely out of crochet! They are asking for volunteers to crochet additional reef pieces for the model, so if you're interested, the email link and info are at the bottom of the page.

that is so cool. I just read the article about something like that and crocheting a coral reef was mentioned in the article. I can't for the life of me remember where I read it though. *slaps forehead*

http://whipup.net/ has a link to this girl who crochets the most amazing things (heck they are all amazing people on there!) there is coral reef too (and if I am correct, she makes some out of plastic bags!!!!!) ever neat!
