Hello from NY - doll patterns??

Hello to my fellow crafters! I am very happy to have found this website & look forward to learning from each of you!

I have been crocheting blankets for family & friends for years, and I love it so much!

My husband came home last week with a cute little doll that a customer had given to him... it is about 4 inches tall (**sooo cute!!**) - looks like it is wearing overalls & a hat, with hands in pockets...

I want to learn how to make it... any ideas where I can find a pattern like that? Also, larger sized dolls too, cute ones... any patterns? (I have seen a few, but want to know where are the BEST ones?)

Love you gals already!!:manyheart

I am looking really more for the Dolls/Animals themselves (not so much the dresses or outfits)... I think it is Japanese Art of Crocheting Stuffed Dolls/Animals?

You are looking for Amugurumi. There are some patterns here that people have done. check out :

Thank you! And I have had some success with a CAT doll... I have the head & torso... but it occurs to me, that it will need a dress... so I may have to talk with you sooner than I thought about making clothes!!
