Sorry it has taken so long to respond. I have been playing wit my new hooks.

 

The multicolored one is a Graydog and it came off of ebay and the other is Fancy Kitty off of Etsy.

 

I used the Graydog one last night and it is awesome. I did a project using two strands of WW yarn and the hook is a little extra deep so I had almost no problem dropping a strand of yarn.

 

I tend to hold my hooks very close to the tip so it took an adjustment period to figure out how to hold it. I could not imagine how wood could be smoother than aluminum but it is 100Xs smoother.
