Weaving ends

As you saw I am making snowflakes for my christmas cards this year. Well I always leave end weaving for last (because I hate doing that task) anyway, so now I have all these pretty snowflakes with all loose ends. What is the best way to weave those ends in? Is it like regular yarn or is there something special I need to do. Help please!

I use quilting needles (found with quilting supplies in the craft stores), they are a little bit longer than the regular embroidery needles, thicker too. And I can thread them without a threader which is always a plus! Then I carefully find the perfect spot to bury the thread in and try to go back and forth a couple of times. Since I'm going to stiffen the snowflakes I don't worry as much if there isn't a good place to bury the thread, I do the best I can and then pray the stiffener will keep it from pulling loose.
