For anyone that has this patter can you explain something to me..?

I feel like a IDIOT..I DONT UNDERSTAND something.

 

In the American directions Under

Round 2

the next paragraph says....(2hdc next st) twice, (2sc next st),

 

the (2hdc next st)twice, is that 2hdc for the next two stitches?

 

Forgive me if this is silly. I am not used to read directions for crochet...and I dont want to mess it up....

I don't have the pattern, but I think what you think is correct, 2HDC in the next 2 stitches. Maybe you could PM cookie and she can give you the correct info. Good luck!

(2hdc next st)twice means to do 2hdc into the next st, two times.

 

so you will have 2hdc in one stitch, 2hdc in the next st.

 

I apologise if this has confused you. Maybe my Aussie accent has mucked it up in the translation!

Its not your "accent" I have not done many "pattern" projects. I usually have done Afghans and did simple once so..this is new for me...
