Looks to me like Row 20 is the last row but you repeat it 3 times.

Round 20-- *( HDC, ch3, HDC) into corner, HDC in each sc across to next corner*

Repeat 3 times and join to 1st Hdc. Fasten off. (36 HDC per side and 144 total)

I think that it means that you do this 3 times*( HDC, ch3, HDC) into corner, HDC in each sc across to next corner*

if you were to repeat the whole rd20 three more times it would make a bigger square then 12incher.:)

can you post the rest of the pattern (row 21 and on)? the pattern ends in the white- the entire last dark blue section is missing. i would like to finish it as seen in the photo with the dark blue "spike stitches" and edging. it looks like row 21 has some sort of cluster spike in the center but i can't figure out how to make it. thanks!

On your pattern Ice Cave - what color do you start out with? I'm not sure if it is the white or the light blue. It is a very pretty square and I was going to try to make it for the winter.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Take care and God Bless.

Thanks again,

Kellie

Well I figured out that you start out with the white, but are there more than 20 rounds? If not them I'm ending in white instead of the navy blue. How many rows of the navy blue did you do and what stitch? I noticed it when I was writing down the pattern.
