Seattle Knitting & Fiber Arts Expo

Is anyone going to this? I just found it online, and it looks cool! There are some crochet classes, (I'd like to take the freeform crochet one.) Also, looks like a lot of shopping. Wahaha. I'm curious though, does this cost anything just to go shopping? (I saw prices for the classes.) Has anyone gone to this before?

What a bummer! I'll be up in Seattle a few weekend's before the Expo .. would have been fun to hit it up while I was there.

That sounds so interesting. I hope I am upto going to it by then. It should be like most expos that you pay one fee to get in to shop. I do the bead expo every year in Tacoma, Plan on comfy shoes and lots of time. We wont even mention money, but it's much more fun if you budget some spending............. Who knows I might even take a class. I have never taken a class on anything.

Yes, but some years ago when it was almost all machine knitting. I'd love to go for the crochet this time but it used to be very crowded and the demos were difficult to see. Things may have changed but if you don't mind crowds it's great. Zaraliz

Ooh I'm glad to hear that it sounds like fun! I'm a bit iffy on crowds, but it may be worth it to get me somma them yarns!

I wouldn't hesitate if I lived in Seattle. I'm in Victoria so it's a Clipper ride away and a couple of hotel nights which ups the price to prohibitive. Zaraliz
