Crochet garment on Knitty Gritty??

I am watching Knitty Gritty on HGTV right now, and I could swear that the hostess is wearing a capelet (or short poncho) made out of crochet (gasp!!). Anyone else watching it?

I'm watching now too, it sure looks like crochet, perhaps Vickie crochet it herself (I believe she does crochet) or perhaps a gift?

She does crochet and they do have it on there once in awhile as a side thing.

Funny episode is one where Candi Jensen was on and knitting baby booties and matching hat. She has a crocheted version in one of her books. At the end of the show they had toddlers modeling some of Candi's things. They were ALL crochet but they didn't mention that little fact. LOL

I saw a few episodes when I was home (sick or on vacation) and they sometimes add crochet to the items they're doing. Sometimes edging, someimtes the hole thing.

I saw it too. Very cute! Its the first time I have ever seen Vickie wear anything on the show made of yarn!

I didn't see the episode, but Vickie does have a super easy pattern for a capelet made of Jiffy on her blog. She said she was wearing it in an episode and it's green?
