Howdy ladies

It sounds like you are all excited to get started on our team projects . I am,too ,but at least waiting for it has made me finish my other CAL afghan -- got it done, decided I wasn't in the mood to fool with a border ,so didn't put one on.

I only made it 5 x 5 instead of 5 x 6 ..Will donate it to the local nursing home for a lapghan .

I have been working on my knitting again this morning. Holy cow, that square 4 is taking forever !!! I HOPE I can get it done today... it's starting to get bothersome now ...and hard to keep track of where I am .

Anyhow, hang in there, we will have the green light to GO on our FG's soon !

Ok ladies I wanted to show you the colors I picked for my FG...most of which I had on hand just had to buy 3 skeins of yellow. Also there is a picture of the optical art blankie so far (its folded over so its actually bigger than it is in the picture) done in lilac and black. And just for the fun of it is a picture of my puppy :D

LOL his name suits his looks but in all reality he is a big baby...he can't go to bed with out someone being in the room with him or the light being on... his sister who is the runt of the litter and my parents dog beats up on him and he doesn't fight back...I joke around saying I should have named him suzie. Lol I like anne but my fiance would kill me if I named a boy a girls name even though I call my puppy suzie sometimes when he is being especially dumb

RoseRed - I hope you woke up feeling better today:hug

Jenni - nice colors! I love bright ones like that. Zeus sounds like my Sparkie...he's a 105 pound baby:lol

I also give you credit for making that op-art blankie - I'd get dizzy! :hook

Oh..I just heard the first plow go through our street in 24 hours:yay

We have over 2 feet of snow:P

Morning ladies. Today is def better than yesterday. Not great but better. I plan on doing a lot of laying around. If I sit too long it starts hurting again. (I hate getting up early when I don't have to)

The pur/black looks AWESOME!

You ladies are going to kick some serious bahookey! in the games. Go Team.

Thanx for the hugs and well wishes. It warms my heart. :ghug

LOL Yeah Zeus isn't quite that size yet but he is about 75-80lbs so hes almost there. His sister just beat him up again this morning and tore open his chin for the third time and yet he does nothing but cower :( I actually don't pay too much attention to the blankie either...the only time I look down is when I feel a stitch marker cause then I have to kfb of the stitch after the marker, the rest of the time I watch tv :lol But if I had to look at it I would probably get dizzy :yes

LOL I agree with Debbie...Can't I just eat a lot of wheaties and say thats good? I don't think the baby bump allows for situps :think

Oh, good grief! Julie, now really! I could do the Wheaties and carrots, but not the rest. We don't even live on a block! And meandering through this subdivision even at a walk can do me in.

Rose, I'm glad you're doing somewhat better today. Take it easy and hope you feel lots better real soon.
