cable bag in FC EasyCrochet

Recommended Posts

Congratulations! I just made this bag with Sportweight Woolese in a purplish color. And I just noticed you're from Everett. I graduated high school from Mariner.

Congrats again on getting published.

Picked up my copy of the magazine and can't wait to get started. This will be by far the hardest item I've attempted, but I did do the JoAnn's honeycomb purse, so I feel good about understanding that part of the bag. Thank you for the beautiful bag and for postng the corrections to row six.

I realize this thread is over 6 mos old but I'm just now running across it!

Your bag is absolutely gorgeous! Can you tell me the date on the FC Easy Crochet issue or if there is somewhere else I can find the pattern? I absolutely love it! Thank you!

I'm glad I found this post. I am making this for my SIL for Christmas and have frogged it a zillion times. I think this time I am right with it. The diamond shapes had me messed up and I thought the initial 8 stitches marker was a bit confusing, as in where did I really start counting? Then I figured that out and I too had an issue with the one round with the pattern written backwards. Figured that one out. I think now that I have worked the kinks out it will work ok. I'm doing it in pink and will hopefully finish it up in a few days.
