They're great. And I'm very proud to crochet in public, even if my friends still think I'm wierd for crocheting in nightclubs.

Do we have a button for this forum? I had a look but couldn't see one, but I have just got in from work and I'm a little tired, so i may just be being blind.

I need to give my site a huge overhaul to get all this new funky things added in.

The individual forums don't have buttons, you're not blind. <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif" />

Good for you for crocheting in nightclubs! I hadn't thought of that, my biggest "performance" was in the automotive department at Walmart. <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.gif" />

Hi, Angie! Crochetville has a button, but you're not blind because it's not on this site. It's at Pam's blog; she is the founder/administrator of this board. :)

I actually just tweaked the purple one a little. The word 'in' now has a lower case 'i'. I didn't see it at first, but it works better now. I think. If you saved it before this post you may want to resave it. Oops!<img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif" />

Apologies to Pam and Angie - when I read your question about buttons for the forum, I was thinking the individual forum threads. Now, why I thought that is anybody's guess. Maybe I was still <img border=0 src="http://members.aol.com/dustkittys/sleeping.gif" />.

I'll go hide now. <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/glasses.gif" />

love your buttons:clap

Don't know how you do that or how to use them, but I like them! And I'm proud to crochet in public now and do get the 'looks'. I've even crocheted in church...:woohoo but it was during a non-service choir concert that my daughter was in so that was alright:^i^

Hi

I'm new to this forum and unfortunately trying to teach myself html. Sometimes I figure it out and sometimes I don't. I've been trying to add the 63 squares button to my blog and I'm having problems.

So if anyone could offer up some advice I'd appreciate it.

I'm probably missing the obvious.

I love all these creative buttons. Very cool.

Hi, Melissa!

Here's how to display and link the 63 Squares button:

<a href="http://yarntomato.com/63squares/"><img src="http://img45.photobucket.com/albums/v138/dbelle/crochet/63squares/63squares.gif" width="88" height="31" border="0" vspace="3" alt="63 Squares Crochet Along"></a>

Anyone can paste this in her blog or web site exactly as it is, with no changes, and the button will appear and it will be linked to my 63 Squares page. It grabs the image from my photobucket account. If you want to save the image on your own server/web space, just change this part: http://img45.photobucket.com/albums/v138/dbelle/crochet/63squares/63squares.gif

The border="0" stops there from being an extra border around the image because it is linked. Without border="0", there would be a border around it the same color as the rest of the links on your page.

The vspace="3" (meaning 3 pixels of vertical space) keeps the button from being jammed right up against other buttons or text that are above or below the button.

The alt="63 Squares Crochet Along" is the text that displays when someone puts their mouse on the button.

Hope this is clear! Please let me know if you have any more questions! :)

Melissa,

If you right click on either of the buttons on this thread, it will give you the URL for the image. They're both on my photobucket account too, just like Donna's 63 Squares image. You can link it the same way, just change the URL.

Where are you in Florida, if you don't mind my asking?

Angie that button is really pretty. I'm not good at making buttons, but I thought Crochetville should have one so I made the current button in Paint. I would love to use the button you made if you don't mind. I really like it. :approve
