well i have started my horse and yes i am doing it in purple. i had to put it away for the day cuz i wanted to surprise my daughter.

 

anyway woolcat i was wondering the original patter show buttons on the legs just wondering if that what you did also, that part of the leg is hidden by the mane your picture. oh and by the way thanks for the latch hook link, i wonder if that is like riding a bike, i used to love to latch hook as a kid.

@kkms: I also used bottons. I made also the crochet buttons to sew them over the real buttons, but my daughter said, the bottons are withe, she dont needs the crochet ones.
