Personally, I think you should take that hat with you whenever you go out with your children. If they start acting up in public, bad attitude, etc. Put the hat on. That should keep everyone in line!!

thanks for all the compliments. My kids still are worried that I will wear it when I am with them. so I have it for sale in my etsy store

the book is in japanese, but the fruits have symbol charts to crochet. I find them very easy to follow.

and the hat is just a basic single crochet hat, then I did a shell stitch ruffle around the bottom, (sc hdc dc hdc sc) in each stitch.

I absolutely LOVE IT! I would pick my kids up from school in it! ha ha ha!
