My fruit loop hat

I just love those japanese books. I got the idea for this hat from the cover of the book that has fruit that you can make into household goods, tea cozies, tissue covers etc. Everything in the book is lovely. So I decided to make a fruit hat! My kids say I am a fruit loop but heck if you can't embarrass your kids what good are they.

Seriously, I once helped someone decorate a cake with kiwis and your hat just reminded me of this...this was like 15 years ago and this is the first time I have remembered it since then.

 

On another note...Great Job!!! It is the dream of parents to embarass their kids...no matter how old they are

my kids won;t leave the house with me in a normal hat!!!! they would just kill me....but i sure do like it...and if i had the nerve,,i would wear it in a new york minute.....way to go!!!!!!
