cupcake scarf

After some trial and error....I finally came up with a crocheted cupcake that I liked. A week later...it is now a scarf

My daughter was willing to model for me as long as I didn't use her face .

 

My family is divided as to whether or not the cherries are too big. They probably are, but I think it adds to the whimsy. I would have liked to use a bigger bead size though. I don't think these are quite big enough. I couldn't find some a bit bigger in the colors that I wanted. Either way, the lady that ordered it likes it and that's all that matters .

Thanks everyone!! I have the pattern somewhat written out...it just needs some tweaking so others can understand what I did. After I finish a couple of other custom orders, I will get it all typed up and posted.

This is a copy of a Twinkie Chan design. While I realize that you did not copy her pattern (they are not available), she sells this item on her website. I also came up with my own pattern for the cupcake scarf for my dauughter, but I do not sell them. Check out her website:

There is another lady on ebay that is also selling a version of a cupcake scarf as well... so there are many people out there that have a their own versions/ideas for a cupcake scarf.
