Self-promotion: embellished hook 4/sale on E-Bay

Hi all -- I hope this type of posting is allowed.

 

I am currently unemployed and looking for ways to raise a little money without having to go back to work full time right away (for health reasons).

 

I have purchased many of my favorite crochet hooks from Niles Clark, a carver who lived in New Orleans before Katrina and has since moved to live in Texas. I have decorated one of his beautiful wooden hooks (I don't remember for sure but I think it's red oak) with a lampwork bead of a cat's face, a few amethyst beads and a dangly kitty and fish treat:

 

 

The hook is sized halfway between an M and an N, very good for working with bulky yarn, rugs and fabric strips.
