I have been cleaning out my craft room and I found my very very first attempt to spin fiber into yarn.

its not really as bad as I thought ( looking back now). But this tiny peice sure frustrated me to all end.

maybe in some artsy way it would have been ok lol. Live and learn right. lol

rotlfmbo umm I plead the fifth. lol

well I ordered a turkish drop spindle and this roving (merino tencel) and another roving (merino) from MarrHaven. and umm well lets just say I got frustrated rather quickly trying the turkish spindle.

which is still in the basement in the fiber bin.

I know I wasted a ton of fiber from the DROP of the spindle ..but that was before I knew what to do.

I think it's very nice. each bit of handspun has it's own character. If we expect perfection, we might as well go with machine spun

Its not balanced, its its well beginner yarn lol

I know I know we all have to start somewhere right. But it is really nice to compare that one to the one I did the other night. Its really gotten better balanced and better consistency.
