crochet caddies (with pics)

Recommended Posts

I did these up last night while watching NHL with DH. The green one is for me, the others I just modified to make smaller. The pattern ( which I ended up following only vaguely, as usual ) is from this link http://crochetcafepatterns.blogspot....ook-caddy.html

The pattern ends up being quite stiff once the hooks are in and lays nice and flat, so I can sneak it in my work bag. My DD's want one each for their drawing pencils now! I used Red heart Super Saver for all 3 and a Boye 4.25 mm hook

Thanks for looking!:hook

Wow,,,I really like those! I have the standard walmart cases,,,old ones with a cloth like lining and plastic places to slide the hook in. I love the casdes, but with the thread hooks,,,the lining catches every time on the end. These look more user friendly!!

I have made several of these caddies...I love using them and making them is so quick...and uses less yarn. I made them for friends and family for the holidays..and still have one to finish for myself that I am going to keep my wood hooks in. I made it wider and taller for them...I have only to crochet in the pockets. If you want a easy hook case pattern...this is the one
