Cheery Yellow Shawl

I made this shawl because I really like the image I saw on the Net somewhere.

 

I think it will be donated for the charity blitz shawl.

 

I really am wondering if it cuts the mustard so to speak. it is bright, cheerful and warm but not too big...

Thats a very pretty pattern, and lovely color. If it is on the smaller side, it could go to a smaller woman. I am sure somebody will love it.

Ooh, it's lovely! Think of it as a shawlette, or capelet, or even a bedjacket/bedshawl. Frankly, I'm thinking of making myself something like that to throw around my shoulders when I sit up in bed at night reading--the blast of cold air coming in through my windows feels arctic in origin, and sadly I can't afford the $5k neded to replace all my old casement windows. I've seen pictures of shawls that women on other groups have made using the pineapple chair sets for a pattern. The heavier yarn makes a good sized shawl. I found this pattern, but I don't know for sure if it's the one the women used. I'll check through my binders and see if I can find the exact one.

I remember that chair back pattern, someone here used that and it was so lovely.
