Clover Soft Touch Thread Hooks

I got a set of these for Christmas. They are sized by number (0-7) but the mm sizes are not printed on the handle. Also, the mm sizes are on the packages but the number size (0-7) does not correlate with another set of steel hooks I have. Has anyone else noticed this? Just curious. Any suggestions for noting the size on the hook handle?

There is a difference in sizing even between Boye/Wright and Susan Bates, but this chart should help:

Look under "Clover", for example. Their 1.0 mm hook is Clover's "size 6" (slide over to the left and read the number...ignore that it says "US" on top), which is Boye's size 12 (look for 1.0 mm under Boye and go over to left to find their size number). If the size in mm is printed on your steel hooks, it's probably quicker to just match that.

 

You are lucky...I'm crocheting with a size 30 thread for the first time right now.
