Size N/10.00 mm aluminum hook

After a long search search, I just found an N hook that is actually 10.00 mm (FYI- the Boye N hook is actually 9.00mm) from a macrame website:

The hooks are $1.90 .

Site also has K,N, and P plastic hooks with hand grips.

I found one at JoAnn's. It was $1.99 I believe and with my 40 percent off coupon came to something like $1.19.

Joanns have the larger size hook in metal at GREAT prices. I believe that they are Joanns own brand. They are under $2 and are comfie. Also they come in pretty colors. I have several and like them very much! I don't like working with plastic hooks and the joann's hooks are great.

 

The ones that Faye posted are really well priced too, and they have grips!

I originally got a set of acrylic hooks at Hobby Lobby (Yarn Bee brand), L M N and P, the N is also 10mm for $5.99.

I wasn't happy with the acrylics, and found a metal set with the 9mm N, Boye, at I think either Michael's or Wal Mart.

Gee, never realized the size difference there - wish we still had a Joann's here!

Susan Bates's N hook is a 10 mm. You can get them at most major craft stores. But they are only available in plastic.

Boye's N hook is a 9 mm. The P hook is a 10 mm. They are available in aluminum.

 

9 mm seems to be the popular size for a N hook. Just bump up into a P to get 10 mm.
