My Pretty Poncho

I finished this poncho yesterday, washed and blocked it. Today it was dry and I had hubby take a pic of me wearing the Christmas Prezzie I handcrafted for myself. I added flowers to the front, I thought they added that extra detail the poncho was missing.

 

I based my poncho loosely on this pattern. I used the hdc stitch throughout, sc around the edge. I used RH SS Aran Fleck with Beige Fleck around the edges and for the flowers. My poncho measures approx. 36" x 24". http://members.aol.com/JSchlossma/epon.html

Grat looking poncho, great for cold offices (like mine). I like the 'square' ones so much better than the round ones. The round ones make me think I'm not allowed to move my arms up at all....
