Blog Button Help

I was hoping someone would be kind enough to walk me through how to make a blog button with Adobe Photoshop 6.0. <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rocking.gif" />

This is what I have done so far, but then get stumped;

I go to 'New' and make my dimensions 102x37 pixels,

and I use a white background.

Then my little button shows up. I pretty much know how to insert text, but was wondering how I insert pictures that I have saved in My Documents.

Any help would greatly be appreciated <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/hug.gif" />

Thanks~

To insert pics in your button:

Go to the pic you want. Right click and Open With > Adobe Photoshop. If Photoshop is not given as one of the options to open with, pick Choose Program. After a little delay, a window will pop up and you can scroll through the programs and pick Photoshop.

Once the pic is open in Photoshop, crop and resize it to the size you want it on your button. Then Select > All. Then Edit > Copy.

Click over to the button your'e working on and Edit > Paste.

Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you need more help. :)

I think I am understanding it now. I still want to play around with it a bit more.

I want to download some more fonts as well.

I appreciate your help <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/angel.gif" />
