A confession and a Thank you!

I spend a lot of time just looking at patterns on-line, and when I first started doing sweaters I saw the BICO pattern. I didn't like it. Didn't bookmark it, print it, nothing.

 

Now so many of you have made them and posted them, and I have to look at all of them! I absolutely LOVE this design!!! You all have done such a great job! I love the color combos - I love the off center closure. I MUST make one (or more!)

 

If the designer of this sweater is here - I'm sorry for my silly initial reaction - it's such a great sweater and, after the holidays, I will be trying to make one or two. They are gorgeous and all you who have posted them have done such great work!!!

There's something about the BICO that just calls out, isn't there? I have nobody to make it for and I'm still tempted by the dark side!

I felt the same way. For me, it was because I was unsure if it opened in the front. I thought it was a pull over. Now I want to try it!

It's funny how some patterns do that to you. I've seen a pattern, didn't like it, and one day it's "Wow, I want to make that!". I don't know why that is.
