What to make with 1 1/2 skeins TLC Cotton Plus?

I ordered two skeins of this last summer, finally made my cousin's 14-year-old a cute mesh cap. Now I have 1 1/2 skeins left. It's that pretty tangerine color. I'd like to order some more and make myself a tank top, but then there's old dye lot issue. Any suggestions for something to make with it? It's a cotton/acrylic blend, DK/light worsted weight.

If you were game for buying more yarn, I'd just buy a complementary color (white, tan, cream) and go ahead and make the tank top! You could do stripes, or alternate the colors, or just use the tangerine you have for an accent (straps, edging etc). There is a cute multi-colored tank top pattern in the Happy Hooker. Amigurumi is that super cute style from Japan. To me they look like the 3-D anime or manga versions of ...anything. Everything is more rounded, more cartoony, more child-like.

 

That's just what I gather from seeing them around. Feel free to correct me, folks (be gentle, though )

 

One follow-up question- how do you pronounce amigurumi?
