A neat stitch

I was checking out some interesting stitch patterns today and I came across something I have not seen done before.

 

It was a (three dc cluster) done as a FPDC. It is really a pretty stitch and lies nicely considering all those done around one post.

 

Others may already know about this but since it is new to me I thought I would share it for others who haven't seen it.

Oh, that sounds cool! I'm doing the kids sweater from Crochet World and just did FPDC for the first time. If it was for a girl, I'd try the cluster!

it doesn't have a name - it was just a stitch on a chart. it really does lie nicely.

ohh i know exactly what you mean! my mom gave me a few really really old pattern that have that on there. once you get past the "vintage" colors and styles they have some great stitch ideas

Sounds fun to try! Although for some reason I can't get the hang of FPDC to begin with...Ah, something else new to learn!
