Yeah! I got a new camera! Now I can post some pics. :camera

This poncho isn't like the typical poncho. My inspiration was this poncho(scroll half-way down). I made it with Red Heart Symphony. Im not really sure if I like it on me. From the right side view it looks like Im wearing a dress over jeans, instead of a poncho. What do you guys think? Honestly.

I just realized when I finally clicked the link you posted that I'd seen that very poncho discussion a while back and had saved the picture and discussion so I could attempt it myself one of these days. So since I don't already have enough to do before my trip *said with slight sarcasm at self* I sat down and started working up a similar one :ohdear Because I have been looking for something to wear on my trip when/if we go out at night that will A) be a little dressy and B) cover my fat ;) so I think this will fit the bill nicely lol. I just picked up a pair of black slacks and a black buttonup shirt that I think this will be great with =) Well, I need to check the color I'm using against my newly dyed hair and make sure it won't clash rofl. I was going for a dark reddish brown and didn't read the box which said to use ONLY on naturally dark brown or black hair and I ended up with a brighter coppery shade than I usually go for... still looks alright, I just may have to rethink my color choices for a while lol.

I like it - very nice. This would look lovely over a dress w/ spaghetti staps or strapless as well as casual with the jeans. I saw that poncho as well and am plannign to make one for the spring/summer. I think it will look very nice with shell, jeans and strappy sandals :)

I LOVE IT! Did you just shorten it a bit? It looks great on you! I can definitely see it paired with a cute dress or jeans and strappy tank top.

I agree! Especially in the summer...with a lightweight yarn..on a cool evening on the beach.

That's neat, I think I may have to make one of those for myself. Great work on the poncho, it's real cute. As for your husband, ignore him, you do great work!
