I love Freecycle

I got 3 good paper bag sized bags of yarn today given to me thru freecycle and get this she makes wooden crochet hooks and gave me one!!!! I was so happy!

I also watch freecycle, lots of good things that are being given away in our area. I found it a great way to get rid of items quickly when I moved from Canada back to the states as well.

freecycle rocks! that's where i got all my hooks when i started a year ago! i've gotten thread; yarn and also a christening outfit started with all the thread!

 

i also check craigslist.com as well, recently for me, and RI also has freemarketri. think thats in MN as well......

I just gave a way a bunch of yarn to a 14 year old girl that crochets.

i love freecycle too! I asked for some yarn for a charity hat make....a lady turned up with 3 large bin bags full! (admittedly some of it was pretty unusable) but i made a load of lovely little hats for a children's cancer ward.
