This was the pattern I got stuck with as I thought this said size 1.

 

Looking again its size I as a beginner do know what UK hook to use .

 

So the 1920's style hat .

 

Hopefully one day can master this pattern:hook think I am hooked deffinately with this wonderful site.

 

But I do have a basket of laundry needing ironed so best get that done my friends.Scotkat

Somewhere, I managed to find a visual card that showed the conversion sizes for crochet hooks. I keep it on my desktop in a folder so that I can get to it easily when I need it. If I can find where I found this I will post the link so others can have it nearby as well.

 

The ones that are just listed as a table are not the same when you want one right at hand so i like the graphically rendered card.

 

Found this one - it's better than none but not the one I like best
