I can't stand it! I LOVE ponchos! I had so much fun making mine, and I want to make more. I am thinking I need a different color for each outfit! :yay2

I know, I know, high ambitions, with a chance of little success, but it's the thought that counts, right?? Yeah, like I need another WIP! :oops

Anyway, I made a "Poncho Lover" button. If you love ponchos, too, by all means take it! Please save it to your own server!! poncholover1.jpg

Please link it to this address. http://luvtocraft.blogspot.com/2004/07/i-love-ponchos.html

Also, click here luvtocraft.blogspot.com/2004/07/i-love-ponchos.html to post your URL so everyone can see your page and know you love ponchos too!

My wardrobe could definitely use more ponchos. :)

Kari I love your buttons they are really pretty. I really am so interested in these buttons and I need to find a program that makes pretty ones like yours. What is your program called, if you don't mind me asking, that ya'll are amking these buttons with? This is really the only cool button I have made:

Most of us use a photo editing program like Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. I found a free program online made by Serif PhotoPlus that is very similar to Paint Shop Pro. If you do an internet search for photo editing you should be able to find some programs that you could use.

Thanks Sutty, first off, the one in my signiture isn't a homemade button it's an internet bumpersticker from Front Bumper- Internetbumperstickers.com

The buttons I made myself are made using a combo of programs (given my mood) Of course I have Paint Shop Pro but I still resort back to my old standby freebie programs for alot of things. Harm's Tile is my favorite (You can find it by google searching)

Also Buttonz and Tilez (don't know if he is still around though)- I've had these programs for several years.

I think it's really a matter of preferance, I was with PSP from one of it's early version beta tests but for some reason I just can't get the hang of the later versions lol I must just be getting old. Hope that helps

Sutty,

I downloaded the free-trial of Paint Shop Pro from here www.jasc.com/products/paintshoppro/

Sadly, I only have 10 days left :cry and I can't afford to buy a new program for a while. I did look up what Tiff suggested and I am thinking of downloading that.

Buttons are sure fun to make!! It is almost as addictive as crocheting! :wink
