Washing

I'm almost finished with my mom's christmas blanket, the infamous Fresh as a Daisy afghan that I've been working on for three years. I've got to put the border on and weave in the half a bajillion ends (I weaved in the other half already ), and ::cringe:: wash it.

 

I'm terrified that its going to come apart in the washer, esp since I started it so long ago when I was brand new to crocheting. Does anyone have any tips that might keep this from happening, or any words of encouragement?

Try using the delicate cycle or gentle which ever your washer has.

I would also, if you are using a dryer, use the same cycles on there.
