Candles In Holly

These are my candles in holly, pattern by Sally V. George. Her patterns are on "The Crochet Works." I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn.

Before seeing your candles, I had wondered why anyone would want to crochet candles (it just seemed silly). But now I know why: they are BEAUTIFUL!!! You did an excellent job! Thank you so much for sharing.

Those look so much better than any real candles I've had the past few years- the dripping wax is so perfect! And none of those burnt spots from when you forget to trim the wick *sheepish grin*

 

I wonder what those would look like without the holly and something wintery instead for New Years...hmmm...
