I have that book. I like it pretty well. There are a couple of things I would like to make someday and a couple things that I do not really like. From memory there are a couple of sweaters, a couple of tops, slippers, 2 or 3 purses, and I don't remember what. If you want any more info, let me know and I will pull it out of the closet and take a look. I am glad I bought it but I am somewhat of a pattern-aholic so I buy books if I like them and may not even make any of the things in them.

I have this book too. I like it. I've only made one pattern from it. This scarf and this one. They are from the same pattern. There are several things that I want to make from it, but I'm working on presents for other people right now. I'm glad I bought it.

I just ordered the book and got it yesterday. I was pretty disappointed in the patterns. They did'nt really seem very original. It did have 2 cute top patterns, but other than that the patterns seemed like the same old thing. That's just my personal opinion though, I'm sure other people really liked it. It could be that I also ordered "New Ideas For Todays Crochet" by Jean Leinhauser & Rita Weiss and was just stunned by the awesome patterns. I have two daughters in their early 20's and they will actually wear the things from that book( some of the patterns are rather revealing though:blush) It just depends on what your looking for.If you have any specific questions about the book just let me know and I will be happy to answer.

I ordered this book on a whim online. There are several cute items in here I want to make. A spaghetti-strap tank top done in fine-weight mohair, a cute skirt, and a rectangular stole done in round motifs are my favorite. Maybe a shawl, too. Oh and a belt! The rest I could live without, but I'm glad I bought it. :)

If you look up the book on amazon.com, then click on the link to "search inside this book," you can see some of the pages. Each time you click on the "surprise me" button, it will show you a different page and you can see many of the pictures that way to see if the items appeal to you.
