Met a male crocheter @ Hobby Lobby!

I stopped at HL on my way home from work today - it's on the way, and I was given a gift card over the weekend (love my FIL!) So there I am, happily contimplating the TLC Essentials . . . when a man, about 65 or so wanders up holding a skein of Bernat baby yarn in orange, he studies the colors and picks up a skein of green . . . . I'm smiling, he looks over and smiles. I say "I love to see a man in yarn" he tells me that he recently inherited the yarn stash from the wife of a good friend and he's buying some more colors to finish a baby blanket for her new Great Grandbaby - so the baby would have something from their GGM - I almost cried, but didn't. I helped him pick out some colors to go with what he'd been given, he helped me pick out colors for baby sweaters and hats for my 2 grandbabies, I told him about crochetville and we said goodbye at the register.
