I found the pattern on one of those free project sheets at walmart in their yarn section....red heart holiday yarns. The designer was Michele Thompson. I'm not sure if it's on line.

yes I am. I am a labor and delivery nurse in Oklahoma. Me and a few others on the wing crochet baby hats for the newborns that are born at the hospital.

Those patterns are pretty close...I think it's all in the colors you mix and match to get different looking stockings. My stockings were all the same pattern, I just added my own touches at the cuff. The yarn was red heart holiday yarn with the sparkles. I think the gold I used sparkles a lot more than the silver.
