My daughter is teasing me

I don't know who taught her the "k" word, but lately, when I bring out my yarn, she says "Mama knits".

 

Aieeee!

 

I think it was her teacher - Ellie has a little blanket for naptime at school that I made for her, and I think her teacher is unclear on the concept of knitting versus crochet.

 

So, I've now taught her that I crochet, so I ask her "What does Mama do with yarn?" "Croyaying!" (She's 4).

 

But she's still saying, with an impish grin, "Mama knits". What a little teaser.

Ah kids! She found a button to push and she ain't giving it up easily! Ask her if she wants to learn to crochet too......that should clear up the confusion!
