Please let me know if you find any errors. I have not had this tested.

The mushroom is hollow. There is a lid that buttons shut.

Enjoy!

Thank you!

I am glad you like it.

My daughter gave me an idea for my next pattern. It is a set of two....and I will list it in the free patterns.

I am about half done now with the first one.

I am excited about sharing this one with you!

I hope to have it done, typed up, and posted very soon!

Hi KristieMN

Thanks for sharing :hug !

I have crocheted the mushroom and I found no errors. It was easy to follow. Pictures later! (I'll have to decide what animal to put inside :) )

lol I just came in to check out your new additions and Jessi says to me "mummy!! are you going to make that and that" *pointing to mushrooms*. When I said "no, not today" all I got in response was a kinda sarcastic "why not?". Sheesh... Great work as always Kristie :) Thanks for sharing

Oh, my gosh - now THAT is adorable. I have three little kittens who would love to find hidden toys inside, especially the mouse :-) I really appreciate your sharing the pattern, this will be a lot of fun to make.

Working on one right now (on row 7 of stem, just started) and I am making it out of cotton instead of WW to see how it comes out. I am a big cotton fan and LOVE making kids things out of it since it is the least allergy inducing of all yarn. If you like I can post a pic when I am done. :)

Pixiewings... I would LOVE to see a picture when you are done!

The 3 I had made up, I stuffed with candy and sent them off to my middle daughters school for their store.

Word has it, kids think they are cool! :D

I'm on row 9 of the mushroom base and with the colors I am using it looks either like fairyland or Alice in Wonderland-ish LOL. I should be done later today (working on it between other things.)

I have a question, do you have a free pattern up in the 'ville for a kitty that would fit in the mushroom? If not I may just have to try my hand at making one LOL. Hopefully it doesn't become a disaster.

Okay, so here is a pic of the mushroom I made both closed and opened.

As you can see, I used an oriental styled knot button instead of a regular button so it would blend more.

It's not nearly as good as yours but I love it, and so do the kids. Thank you SO MUCH for the pattern!! :hug
