Question
Tracey4610
One of the christening dresses I designed has a pattern stitch in it that I got out of a book. Mind you, there are hundreds of stitches in this book--in some cases, this makes a difference. Does it break the copyright law to apply this stitch creatively in a design and call it one's own? This will make a difference as to how or if I publish this garment design. Can anyone please help me with this?
Thanks in advance,
Tracey
