Moda Dea Eden for $1.99??

I've been wanting to make the Eden sweater from Moda Dea forever. I have never been able to find Eden in any of the stores near me, though.

I was looking on Joann's site yesterday and got all excited because they have Eden, on sale, online for $5-something. Some little voice told me to look around before I sent that much on it, though. Because the pattern calls for 12 balls of this stuff.

It must be an error because everywhere else I've looked it's $5-$7 per skein! So, you better believe I bought 12 balls of it (should have bought 13 maybe)...

 

By the way, I had to throw the new Patons SWS pattern book The Look on there, too, because I HAVE to have the skirt in there. I bought a ball of SWS to make a little camera case and it's so soft, I love it. Can't wait to make the skirt.

I love that sweater. I was wondering if a CAL might start with that one.

 

I figure I can always find a willing victim somewhere if it works.

Darski, I might have to join that CAL if you start it. I personally know nothing about starting or managing a CAL, but I'd join if YOU did it.

 

I'm in the Sports Afghan CAL and a couple others...but I think right now I'm going to focus on the Sports Afghan one, since I don't have my Eden yet, anyway.

 

But I'll keep my eyes out for the Eden sweater CAL.
