I just ran out of Winter White yarn, Caron's Perfect Match. The nearest store that might carry it is 45 miles away. I ran out right at the end of a border. Pout, pout. Well, everything else is going well so I can't complain.

Thank you all for the squares! It will be very satisfying when our project is done.

:lol That's exactly what happened to me, too! I have had the squares done for weeks. Just didn't have a big envelope to send them, then I needed stamps, then tape..... :blush

:clap :clap :clap:cheer :cheer :cheer

So glad they got there soon enough - I was worried they wouldn't make it in time.

What's funny is, those four were done two weeks ago - I was just hung up on the dern pattern for the big one! I could have done more smaller ones instead. I should have, as a matter of fact.

Note to self: next time, DON'T TRY SOMETHING NEW for a charityghan.

Mary I can look around at WalMart and Hobby Lobby for some tomorrow! (I'm only what 3,000 miles away?) :lol Just joking... WalMart is five minutes from here. I would go now but I don't like going out in the dark by myself.

If I can't find Caron Perfect Match, would RH or some other brand be okay? Are you far into it to have to rip it out?

Tina, I'm going to call our nearest Hobby Lobby today and see if they have the color I need. Then DH and I can make a trip on Monday. It's a city we like to shop in anyway. THANKS!

Chiscrochetcrazy and Breger3, thank you so much!

Okay. :) Oh, you're in Iowa. Why was I thinking Canada? :think (That's why I said 3,000 miles away...) :blush

Hope you can find it!

Mary,

I am happy you got them so quickly. They seemed to get there faster in an envelope as opposed to the box I sent the first time. All of the Comfortghans you have posted so far are so lovely. What a wonderful job you did, and how increadibly kind of you to put so much time, love and effort into this project. I can't wait to see the last few. If you find you need anything further just post or pm me.

Denny:

I am happy you received the box of squares, it took longer to get to you than I anticipated. I mailed the envelope to Salos almost a week later and you got them a day apart. I am glad you have them and can't wait to see the finished product. You are a very special kind of thoughtful to put this confortghan together and donate your time and effort. I am sure the Roberts family will feel the love and well wishes that went into each stitch.

Today we received packages and boxes from Chiscrochetcrazy, Breger3, and a friend at Project Rest Assured.

Chiscrochetcrazy also sent me a birthday gift. What a nice surprise! I'll post a photo soon.

Thank you, thank you. :)

Mary do you mind if I save the photo of the squares (I forgot to take one) and of the afghan when it is done? (For my blog...) :P

I can't wait to see them in an afghan too. Do you still need more squares?

Tina, I would be glad for you to have the photos. I don't know how to send them to you; DH can help with that I'm sure.

Thanks, but I don't need new squares. I need to finish this project off and get on with family things. We'll end up with twelve afghans I think.

Breger3 sent these: 28 squares in all http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3/salos/crochet/SQ33.jpg

Seneca and Scooch sent me a most lovely gift and these squares http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3/salos/crochet/SQ34.jpg

#7 afghan is waiting for some yarn to finish the edge. So here's our afghan # 8 http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3/salos/crochet/SQ35.jpg

Afghan #8 is made from squares by Worm, Lost Cove, Sahahne, Chrispersmom, Donna from Project Rest Assured, and myself.

Bravo, ladies.

Wow Mary, you have done a fantastic job! All the afghans so far look beautiful. And a big thank you to your hubby for posting up all the photos for us. I love to see what other people have made, and how all the squares come together in one afghan so definitely appreciate it. Thank you to you both :)

Coralie,

I received your squares the other day, but my computer has been down until today. Thank you very much! I will begin putting the squares together, because I think I have received almost all of the packages, I think I have one more coming. I'll give you an update as I proceed. Thanks to everyone that has contributed.:clap
