Another felting/washer question.

First, thanks for those who answered my first question. :hug

Now my second question. I can pause my washer during the wash cycle, but I cannot open the door without turning the washer off (thus negating the wash cycle). Is that a bad thing?

Sorry 'bout all the stupid questions....part of the reason why we bought a top of the line washer is that I could throw a load of wash in and not worry 'bout it. :blush

felting doesnt seem as effective in a front opening washer. Whenever ive felted anything in mine ive just ran it twice through. I stopped it once half way and it wasnt felted enough.

Its a pain but you have to turn the washer off so it can drain if you want to check it - in theory you are meant to turn it off before it spins but i didnt do that and my piece turned out ok.

That was a load of babble - sorry, hope it made SOME sense :lol

That's OK, 'cause I'm gonna start babbling myself.

What I think I'll do is to let it go through once...see what happens. If it's not good enough, I'll use the plunger and hand felt it the rest of the way.

Now, does that make sense?:think
