Okay, I'm making this pattern, http://www.coatsandclark.com/Crafts/Crochet/Projects/BabyChild/LW1328+Elfin+Stripes.htm, which I absolutely love, but I'm stuck at this part

"Shape Neck: Sl st across first 7 sc, work across rem 15 (17, 18, 20) sc. Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 2 rows. Work even on 13 (15, 16, 18) sc until 4 (4½, 5, 5½)" above division. Fasten off."

Okay.. now here's the question, I get the sl st across first 7 sc

but what does "work across rem 15 sc" mean.. do I sl st the rest of the way.. or what?

CQ, I think it's just one of those "pattern language" things. . .rather like "work even" :lol.

When they say "work across" they expect you to understand it means to work in your established pattern. But as in this case it's only sc, I agree it would have been a lot clearer to say that!

Smiles,
