Frank Jr. Worsted weight yarn in black & green I used simply soft for the sample & an F hook if using Red Heart you can use a G hook Abbreviations ar : around rep : repeat fr : from ch: chain rw: row or round Also I don’t give stitch counts they don’t really matter so much except at the starting few rws. When I say stitch in remaining stiches that just means you may an extra few stitches after you do your pattern ar if you have left over stitches that won’t allow you to finish doing the rep just sc into those extras : ) Head w/black Ch 7 sc in second ch fr hook & in each ch continue on the other side of starting ch sc in those free loops (10sc) Mark rounds ( 1 ) 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 4 , 2 sc in next sc , sc in last 4 ( 2 ) 2 sc in first 2 sc , sc in next 4 , 2 sc in next 2, sc in last 4 ( 3 ) 2 sc in first 4 sc , sc in next 4 , 2 sc in next 4 , sc in last 4 ( 4 & 5 ) Sc ar fasten off black at end if rw 5 & join green ( 6-14 ) Sc ar at end of rw 14 fasten off green & join black ( 15 ) 2 sc in first sc *Sc in next 3 , 2 sc in next * rep fr * to * ar (16 & 17 ) Sc ar (18 ) 2sc in first sc * Sc in next 6, 2 sc in next * rep fr * to * ar Sc in any remaining stitches (19-25) Sc ar ( 26) Decrease , Sc in next 5 rep this ar ( 27 & 28 ) Sc ar at end of rw 28 fasten off leaving long tail stuff & sew closed Arms make 2 w/green Ch 2 , 5sc in second ch fr hook ( 1 ) 2 sc in each ar ( 2 ) 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 4 , 2 sc in next , sc in last 4 ( 3 & 4) Sc ar at end of rw 4 fasten off green join black (5-14) Sc ar at end of rw 14 fasten off leave long tail stuff sew closed & sew to side of body Legs make 2 w/ black Ch 2, 7 sc in second ch fr hook ( 1 ) 2 sc in each ar ( 2 ) 2 sc in first , * Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next * rep fr * to * ar sc in any remaining stitches (3-16 ) Sc ar at end of rw 16 fasten off leave long tail stuff sew closed & sew to bottom of body At this point you can stitch on face or use black craft paint for face & scars Boo For You W/ white Follow Frank Jr. pattern through Rw 25 ( 26 ) 2 sc in each ar ( 27 & 28 ) Sc ar ( 29 ) Decrease , Sc in next 3, rep ar sc in any remaining stitches ( 30 & 31 ) Sc ar ( 32 ) Decrease, Sc in next 6, rep ar sc in any remaining stitches ( 33 ) Decrease, Sc in next 5, rep ar sc in any remaining stitches ( 34 ) Decrease ar Fasten off leave long tail stuff & sew closed I used felt pieces for eyes I Want My Mummy W/ Gray make Frank Jr. pattern in all gray You do not need to stuff this as full as for Frank Jr. Using white or off white or a mix of the two Ch 100, Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch Fasten off leaving tail a little longer than this piece measures for sewing to body. Make as many of these strips at different lengths as needed to cover the Mummy like you’d like. I made the eyes out of white felt & painted on a big black center to peak through the wrapping. Sew the strips on but leave little pieces at the beginning & end loose. Sew these strips to body as desired. You could also use some gray makeup lightly rubbed on these pieces to make it look older.
