Anybody crocheting or knitting in NJ?

Hello-

I'm 27 years old and i live in Freehold, NJ. I knit and crochet. Anybody know of any groups or meetings?

i'm not sure what part of NJ freehold is, but im from south jersey - cumberland county. i don't know of any groups though, i'm looking for one too. =( i also knit and crochet.

I'm also from central jersey, but more north than you; somerset county. I have no idea about any groups either.

I would love to start my own group maybe like once a month. I would be willing to hold it in my house.

do you know how far you are from vineland, nj by any chance?

I'm in Matawan, just down Rt 79 from Freehold. Vineland's way down south of here.

Yup, just come up Rt 79, I'm a couple blocks down on Rt 516! Used to hang out in Freehold, but that was 30 years ago.

not sure how far i am from vineland. i live right near the freehold mall if you know where that is. if you are coming south its exit 123 or exit 105 if you are traveling north on the parkway.

Lisa, I have a cousin in Vineland...it's closeto 2 hours away - south and west of us up here...and there are no truly BIG roads that will get you directly there!

Hey Girls, We have a crochet/knitting group in South Jersey. We meet at the Franklinville library every monday night. you don't have to attend every week,just when it is convient for you. We sit around and talk, crochet, knit, and work on many projects. We took a trip to Baltimore this past Sunday to stitches East. We are making some hats for babies. We also made a few prayer shawls and sent them out. We are always looking for new people to join us. There is no fee of any kind. We just like crochet/ knit/ and talk. Hope to see some new faces. Hi Judy...actually I don't go to Shop Rite cause mom's used to Stop & Shop; and it's just too darn BIG for us, but my stepson works at Shop Rite. I moved back here in April after many years away (last 10 in NC).
