Copycat challenge/CAL

I wonder if anyone would be interested?? I thought it might be challenging and fun to try to decipher designer patterns with friends. The key here is DESIGNER. No point in copycatting someone's pattern to save yourself $3.50, but is it ok if it's for something outrageous luxury product that you would never buy in this lifetime?

 

I thought this motif would be really fun (I could make a king sized afghan with $350 in cashmere). The Ferragamo purse thread got me interested.

There is a wonderful site where everyone makes crochet knockoffs of designer bags, (the originals are not necessarily crocheted). I will post the link when I get home and locate it on my home computer. It is very funny.
