I never think in terms of original yarns. it's an afghan, gauge doesn't do too much.

I've made this It was for my sister who is an art history major and a huge Mondrian fan. It was my first big crochet project and I think it turned out really nice...but it was a pain with all the color changes! I did it in Cotton ease, which I loved working with. I posted the finished blanket on craftster if you are interested in seeing my version. Good luck on a potential CAL!

Wow! Mobogal, you did a great job on that and it makes me even more anxious to get this CAL off the ground some time in the spring or Cabin Fever February maybe. You could hang around and help us

Thanks for the compliment Glad you liked it! It was pretty easy to follow, although I re-drew the graph bigger, because I thought the Lion Brand graph was impossible to read! I'd love to hang around and offer encouragement . I was so exhausted but happy when I finished and it would be great to see other people give it a go!
